Hey there, I'm Kristen
Over a decade ago, during my yoga teacher training, I was in warrior two when my instructor said, “Notice your thoughts in this pose.”
I had never considered that before. I assumed my thoughts just happened — the mental noise, the stress spirals, the constant feeling of being behind.
But that single observation unlocked something:
I could choose what I thought about myself and my life.
I became curious about how we experience our own lives — our patterns, our reactions, the stories we carry. I dove into books, podcasts, training, and eventually coaching work.
Not a life built around expectations or keeping everyone else afloat while you're drowning.
A life that feels genuinely, specifically yours because you know what you want and you're out there living it.
Overwhelm wasn't my problem. It was information. It was showing me where I was living from obligation instead of intention.
My life looked fine from the outside.
In 2023, I sold nearly all of my things and took off on a nomadic adventure across the United States for about four months, visiting many National Parks along the way.
After those few months of travel, I wanted to settle for a bit. I chose Montana to see if I could handle a northern winter – southern girl here – and I can now officially say I lived in Montana for almost two years.
These days, I’ve traded mountains for the Gulf Coast — where I recharge with salt air, white sand, and clear water.
To me, intentional living means choosing how you experience this one beautiful life.
A little more about me professionally
And personally
I've spent the last eight years coaching women 1:1 and in groups, including four years of business coaching for yoga and pilates teachers and studio owners. Before that, I spent years in the wellness industry — first as a yoga teacher, then as a licensed massage therapist.
Session after session, I'd listen to people talk about their lives and quickly realized that mindset work could make a huge difference, as it had for me. That's what led me to my first coaching certification.
I've since added a second coaching certification, a Human Design certification, and a Neurosomatic Intelligence certification. Understanding my clients from a holistic perspective — their mindset, their belief systems, their unique personalities, and their nervous systems — gives me a well-rounded picture of how to best guide them.
I also spent three years as Director of Customer Support for a multi-million dollar coaching company, so I know this industry from a lot of angles.
My background before all of this is a little unexpected. I have a BFA in fabric design and founded a textile company specializing in hand-dyed textiles for weddings and events. Creativity has always been part of how I think.
